Bound in tan cloth with gilt spine lettering, this deluxe edition features Miller s bold blue-ink signature on the limitation leaf. Missing original slipcase. Hardcover. The book condition is Very Good+. Text is clean, unmarked, and attractive, free of foxing. Hinges and binding tight. Spine has a very slight forward lean to it. Hardcover board corners turned inwards. Fabric on hardcover boards lightened/discolored along edges and spine. Some dark streaks on front board fabric. Stray pen mark across center of spine. Miller s After the Fall is often regarded as his most intimate play, written shortly after the end of his marriage to Marilyn Monroe. The narrative unfolds in the psyche of Quentin - a thinly disguised fictional version of Miller - reexamining love, loss, and responsibility through haunting dialogue, with obvious parallels to Monroe and Miller s own life. This is a rare gem for collectors and theater enthusiasts alike: a beautifully preserved, signed first edition from one of America s greatest dramatists.

Orders ship within 2 business days of payment - typically next day. Orders are shipped via USPS media mail at a flat rate of $6 and $2 for each additional item. Orders can also be shipped via USPS priority mail for $15 for the first book. For both services, customers will be contacted if heavy/oversized books require additional shipping costs, or if the shipping destination requires additional shipping costs.
Important note for non-US buyers: International orders are billed at cost, and this cost varies greatly with the weight and size of the order. If you are ordering oversized volumes or multiple books, expect notably higher shipping costs. When you place your order, I will estimate the shipping options and costs with PirateShip and email you about these options. When we agree on a shipping method, I will send an invoice for the additional shipping costs through Abebooks, and will pack and ship the order once this is paid. If it turns out that your order costs less to ship than the default international shipping cost that I use for my books, I will reiumburse you for the difference.
