About the Author
Jonathan Cash, a meteorologist for one of the highest rated morning television newscasts in the country, is also a Bible teacher and popular speaker. Brought up in a traditionally religious home, Jonathan loved storms and displays of the power of nature while growing up. While he was in college studying atmospheric science, he became fascinated with biblical accounts of climatic upheavals. As he read through Revelation seven times, Jonathan met the God behind the storms, the Creator of the universe, the Savior of the world. He was saved at the age of twenty–three.
Jonathan is a scientist who believes in creationism and the Bible as the inspired Word of God. As such, he brings a unique voice for reaching out to many who would not otherwise listen to the Gospel message. He has established In the Sky Ministries to help fulfill his heart's desire for evangelizing lost churchgoers.
In addition to Lost in Church, a book that examines the harvest fields ready within church walls instead of outside of them, Jonathan has written two end–time thrillers, The Age of the Antichrist and Thunder in Paradise. He terms these books "faction" since they are fictional novels based on the facts recorded in Revelation.
Jonathan lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with his wife, Tina, and two children.
