The Age of Cars

The Age of Cars tells the eventful story of the auto-mobile with the author describing the efforts of the pioneers to transform the horseless carriage from a noisy, uncomfortable and unreliable machine into a practical means of transport. The book is illustrated with over 140 photographs, many of them in colour, which are representative of the rich variety of cars produced by the worlds automotive industries some dating back hundreds of years. The book and jacket in very good condition however there is an irrelevant message written on the inside of the front cover to the book and foxing apparent in the inside of paper cover as well as very slight shelf ware along the top edge.
