Agentic Assessments: Algorithms and Leadership

Agentic Assessments: Algorithms and Leadership

A trailblazing handbook for practitioners charting the emerging frontier of leadership assessment, where AI agents and algorithms now meet established Competency Based Assessment and Development Centers to reshape how leaders are watched, judged and grown. Leadership is entering a new era.

The assessment center has now shifted from an evaluation event run entirely by people into a dynamic, agentic environment. A third presence joins the candidate and the assessor inside the assessment room, namely the AI agent. Five connected layers organize the overall model, Human Candidate, Agentic Simulation, AI Interpretation, Algorithmic Evidence and Human Governance, where machines build responsive organizational conditions, algorithms shape evidence, AI reads patterns, and human professionals keep final interpretive authority and accountability.

An Agentic Leadership Assessment Center runs across two days and sixteen hours, with three forms of intelligence working together.

Full written instructions cover five agents, namely the Simulation, Observer, Orchestrator, Calibration and Governance agents. Schedules for both days run minute by minute, with a rotation plan for twelve participants and the rooms, equipment and network required throughout.
