The aging of baby boomers, along with the predicted decrease of the available labor pool, will place increased scrutiny and emphasis on issues relating to an aging workforce. Kenneth S. Shultz, Ph.D.,is a professor in the Psychology Department at California State University, San Bernardino. His degree is in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He also completed post-doctoral work as a National Institute on Aging Post-doctoral Fellow in social gerontology at the Andrus Gerontology Center at the University of Southern California. He has more than 30 publications (including three book chapters and several encyclopedia entries) and more than 50 presentations on a variety of topics, most recently focusing on aging workforce and retirement issues. He has also recently co-authored a book on psychometrics published by Sage Publications.
