(144x114mm), pp: vi,[i]-iv,[1]-154, with 2 folding volvelles (engraved rotary tables) facing each other as frontispiece for assistance in guaging weight & value of crops, half title & index at end, small mark to margin of title-page, owner inscribed in ink 'Oct 17th 1861' to front paste-down endpaper, yellow endpapers, original brown blind stamped cloth, gilt lettered to front cover. The two volvelles are delicate and in excellent condition, overall light wear & fading otherwise sound, tight & very good. The Author, W. Wallace Fyfe, F.B.S.E., was a resident of Dorchester.
