Add to basketOriginally serialized in The Modern Boy. Red cloth name in pencil to front free endpaper, spine lean . Provided with a copy dustjacket. The Dustjacket and opening plate were Howard Leigh's work , the other plates are uncredited but also appear to be his work. Catalogue 1pp to the rear. Starts with 13 titles in the Ace series at the back by George Rochester. Rochester was a contemporary to W E Johns , in the early 1930s his (Rochester's) aviation stories outsold the legendary Biggles ironically Rochester was also imprisoned in the same POW Camp as W E Johns. The artist, Howard Leigh, did the artwork in many of the early Biggles books and was also brother-in-law to W E Johns John Hamilton 1936 England.
