This inspired volume of poems carries a sweet fragrance of valuable perfume. It has been stated that the alabaster box often times connects the giver to the destiny of the receiver. The experiences of life made the cost of oil in her alabaster box priceless as she poured much of it out on the pages of this book. She was 83 years old when she crossed over to that eternal abode to be with her best friend, Jesus. So we, the family, say thanks to you, Mom, for passing on this legacy. Our memories of you as Mother, a Christian, lady, wife, friend, and writer will live on forever as we read this invaluable collection of poetry entitled, “The Alabaster Box”.

About the Author

At the foundation of this gigantic family was a beautiful and loving lady. She was friendly and cordial to the visiting friends and ministers. A prayerful lady, she was always ready to minister to others while guiding the duties at home. Pregnant with 14 babies consumed much of her married life. A few miscarriages along the way drew her closer to Jesus as she walked through the "valley of the shadow of death" many times. The anointing of the Holy Spirit was present to heal, revive, and comfort her while raising family. This virtuous woman grew strong enough by the grace of God to survive the everyday battles of homemaking, one of the highest callings on earth given by God.
