One sheet folded into 18 panels with 30 illustrations from photographs. Bound accordion style and housed in brick red album covers with gilt lettering on front. Boards have light wear to edges. Pastedown paper glued to inside of boards is cracking but the binding itself is solid. Illustrations are in fine condition; one image has 1/2 inch closed tear. The first image which is pasted to front board is loosening from back but holding. First fold has slight separation. Overall very good. This view book depicts scenes from across Colorado including Manitou Springs, Ute Pass, Garden of the Gods, Glen Eyrie, the U. S. Signal Station on Pike's Peak, Royal Gorge, the Sawatch Range, Dump Mountain and Mule Shoe Curve on the Denver & Rio Grande R'Y, and a trail in the San Juan Mts. A clean and bright copy of a 19th century view book. Publishers paste-down label inside back board. ; 3 1/2" x 5".
