The Alex Cave Series. Book 3. Red Energy

An ancient alien device awakens beneath the Aleutian Islands… and Earth is about to tear itself apart.

When geophysicist Alex Cave investigates a mysterious seismic event on a remote Alaskan island, he uncovers a forgotten alien spacecraft and a technology capable of altering the planet’s natural systems. But Alex isn’t the only one who knows about it.

A rogue scientist, Rita Harrow, and her ruthless partner Steve Preston hijack the alien device, triggering a chain reaction that destabilizes Yellowstone—the largest supervolcano on Earth. Geysers explode, the ground rises, and ash plumes punch into the sky. One more event, and 1,300 square miles of North America will vaporize.

Alex discovers something worse: The device has the ability to bend time, and each attempt to fix the catastrophe only makes reality spiral further out of control.

Now, with billions of lives at stake and the past collapsing into the present, Alex must stop Rita before she triggers a global extinction event, prevent Yellowstone from erupting, and solve a deadly time-travel paradox before it kills him—permanently.
