A cautionary tale, written for growing up children, to be shared with their older grown ups!
To help them stay safe in the Internet!
In Wonderland down rabbit holes,
with wires that twinkle in blue haze,
all mimsy when the WiFi slows,
and Smartphones enslave,
Beware the terabyte my son,
with teeth that bite and claws that scratch,
beware the whizeewig, and shun,
the tempting of the googol cache,
Queen took her screen and mouse in hand,
long time with people’s minds she fought,
then rested by a wood of trees,
and drained the humans of all thought!
Her screen and mouse went click and track,
the people’s eyes went glazed and black,
they bought more things, yahoo, hurray,
a googolplex of games they played,
while all their time just drained away,
along with all their thoughts!
In Wonderland down rabbit holes,
with wires that twinkle in blue haze,
all whimsy where the chat bot grows,
and Smartphones enslave.
* re-imagined and drawn by humans,
NOT Chat Bottoms and AI machines.
