Cover is embossed with round image of Alice pulling aside a curtain while holding a key. Gilt on the spine. Includes 42 Illustrations by John Tenniel. This is a pretty rare/scarce edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland! I had a very difficult time finding other copies of this book for sale. I have priced mine a good amount under what I did find. Book is Good condition. Wear/tear on the covers. Scratch/ding on the front cover. 4 water rings on the front cover. Rubbing on the covers, particularly the corners. One white spot on the front cover top edge and a few on the spine. Interior is in Good conditoin. Inked inscription on front flyleaf. Vertical tear at top (about 2") on an early page, but does affect the text. At one point, the binding is split and exposes the webbing quite a bit. Binding is a little loose, but still fully bound together. Pages are clean with just a hint of browning and occasional foxing. Your purchase supports a small business.
