About the Author: Translating a lifelong fascination with bugs onto the page was easy for Lynn Huggins-Cooper. Lynn grew up poking through the gardens and combing the beaches of Sussex, England looking for the bizarre and the beautiful in the form of insects. So, one could say she began researching and writing Alien Invaders / Invasores extraterrestres during her childhood.

Lynn graduated from the London School of Economics / Northumbria University with a BA in Criminal Justice, and has earned her postgraduate certification in education. These credentials coupled with her environmental consciousness have led her on such exciting enterprises as working with prisoners in a bail hostel and working as a wildlife ranger at a marine reserve. Her fascination with the natural world, from garden to seashore, has led her to spend her spare time building ponds and wildlife gardens for her family and local schools.
