Overview

On the surface, everything looked right. The marriage, the career, the ministry, the house, the vacations — all the markers of “success.”
But under the surface, something felt off. The harder Tamara tried to hold it all together, the more things fell apart. Her divorce became the pothole that finally revealed how deeply misaligned her life had become.

Aligning with Yourself was born from that awakening. This isn’t a book about perfection — it’s about peace. It’s about learning to stop striving and start aligning — with yourself, your purpose, and the God who already has everything you’re chasing.

Through relatable stories, gentle humor, and soul-level insight, Tamara invites readers to step off the treadmill of self-reliance and step into the quiet confidence of divine alignment.
Each chapter explores a new layer of this journey — from reframing destructive thoughts to understanding surrender, abundance, and the freedom of being exactly who you were created to be.

Purpose and Promise

This book bridges two worlds — the modern self-help language of manifestation, alignment, and mindset — with the timeless truth of Scripture. It shows readers that God’s Word has always held the keys to wholeness, abundance, and peace.

It’s not about religion — it’s about relationship.
Not about “getting more” — but about becoming whole.

Readers will walk away with:

• A deeper awareness of their inner patterns and how to shift them.

• Practical tools for reframing negative thoughts and aligning with truth.

• Freedom from the guilt of striving and performing.

• A rekindled sense of peace and spiritual confidence.

  Key Takeaways

• Identify hidden misalignments — the subtle lies and agreements shaping how they think, speak, and act.

• Reframe “death words” into “life words,” shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion.

• Rediscover the Source — moving from self-reliance to God-reliance, trading anxiety for trust.

• Surrender control without losing strength, finding freedom in letting go.

• Unique Angle

While many self-help books teach manifestation and mindset from a secular lens, Aligning with Yourself reframes these principles through a faith-based, accessible, and emotionally intelligent perspective. It speaks to both spiritual seekers and believers ready to move beyond religion into true inner relationship — with themselves, with God, and with others.

• Live abundantly through gratitude, purpose, and alignment with divine flow.
