Earliest dated American edition. Rare. Munro's Library Double Number, No. 738. Two color pictorial wraps in orange and black on green wraps, dated May 31st, 1887 on title page, 20 cent price. Early reprint with Munro Library listings up to #769 in rear catalogue, and piano ad on back cover. New York: George Munro, Publisher (1887), 226 pages. Good copy with cream colored pages toning towards edges. Loss at spine ends and corners, other imperfections. Fragile back cover coming unattached. Previous owner's name on inside front cover dated 1901.
