About the Author

Passionate about nature, Lisa Geralyn Gabory turned her love of gardening into a career by obtaining an associate's degree in horticulture from Spartanburg Technical College. Since then, she's worked at retail and wholesale garden centers, designed landscapes, and managed a children's garden at an organic farm. A New Jersey native, she lived in South Carolina for twelve years before finally settling in Pennsylvania, where she now lives with aspiring artist daughter Lisa, two dogs Cocoa and Karly and two cats Kimba and Simba. She is also a surrealist artist, known for painting in bold colors.
