Alma and the Guinea Pigs

Step into the magical world of Maurice the Mole and Friends, written by Grandma and illustrated by Mama.

One beautiful summer's day, Alma is sitting with Grandma in the far corner of their magical field when Grandma begins to tell her a wonderful story about three very special guinea pigs who once lived there.

Meet Nicole, the adventurous guinea pig with long red fur; Miss Spotty, the sensible one who likes to think things through; and Dollar, the nervous but lovable guinea pig with a wiry grey coat.

The three friends spend their days playing, munching on dandelions and enjoying tasty treats. But Nicole has always dreamed of exploring beyond the field. When she decides to set off with her friends to find the big river at the bottom of the hill, their exciting adventure soon becomes more than they bargained for!

With the help of a few familiar friends — and a very timely rescue — the guinea pigs discover that adventures can be exciting, but sometimes the safest and happiest place to be is home.

Alma and the Guinea Pigs is a charming story about friendship, curiosity, courage and the joy of sharing family stories.

Perfect for young children who love animals, gentle adventures and heartwarming stories, this delightful tale is part of the Maurice the Mole & Friends series.

Come along with Alma, Grandma, Maurice and three adventurous guinea pigs — and discover what happens when curiosity takes you a little too far from home!
