Full set of 27 volumes [volumes 26 and 27 are various copious indices] bound in 15 folio-sized volumes, measuring approx. 14 x 9.5 inches; full contemporary vellum-covered boards with red-brown leather spine labels lettered in gilt, 3 of the spine labels chipped, light rubs and markings to the vellum, internally very clean and tight; each volume bears on the front pastedown the finely engraved bookplate of what appears to be the joint library of 4 English bishoprics: London, Southwarck, St. Albans, and Chelmsford; bookplate signed "T.G.J. 1915"; very nice set with an early binding, seldom found complete.
