Henry Altemus' Peter Rabbit Book - Peter Rabbit and Little White Rabbit. Dated as 1923, the blue end papers indicate that this printing was done in 1923-1926 [HenryAltemus . Com]. Henry Altemus Series was the first unauthorized American printing of Peter Rabbit. Size of the book is: 5.5"x4.25". 63pp. Illustrations done by J. L. Gallagher. Grey boards with debossed title and decoration pastedown color illustration on the cover. Red cloth spine has some minor damage (see picture). Hinges intact. Blue end papers with the previous owner's name written in the "This Book Belongs to: " space. Very Good- Condition. No dust jacket. No marks on the text block. ; Color Illustrations; 24mo 5" - 6" tall; 63 pages.
