Second edition, viii, 496pp. Blue cloth-covered boards; blind embossed titles on front, gilt titles on spine; numerous black and white illustrations, diagrams and tables in text. 8vo. Lightly rubbed spine ends, moderate wear to corners. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges tanned and starting to fox. Endpapers and prelims lightly tanned and starting to fox, top corner of half title pages clipped. Internally pages margins are lightly tanned otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has moderate shelf wear, soiling to spine, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage. This book is intended to serve as a text-book on Alternating Current theory and practice for the student, covering the fundamentals of all branches of the subject. Also useful for those connected with the running of A.C. power and sub-stations. Second edition updated with the rapid progress in radio work with the addition of new pages since original publication.
