Alto Secrets (Paperback or Softback)

Maddie Ryland has her life perfectly planned: volleyball, volleyball, and… more volleyball. It’s kind of her family’s brand.

But then the unthinkable happens: she gets invited to join the art club at Aspen Middle School. And Maddie doesn’t just like art. She loves it. Like, staying-up-late-to-paint, forgetting-to-eat, this-is-my-secret-superpower kind of love.

There’s only one tiny problem: her parents are expecting her to play club volleyball.

So Maddie does the only logical thing. She tells a little white lie. She says her school has a volleyball team, and she’s on it. Except…there is no school volleyball team.

Suddenly, Maddie is juggling paintbrushes, fake practices, imaginary teammates, and enough lies to fill a gymnasium. Every day is a new adventure in “how badly can this go wrong?”

Will Maddie get caught? Will her art survive the chaos? And most importantly, how many lies does it take before your brain officially goes kaput?

Spoiler: probably a lot.
