- Sometimes it's better to finish last and have 99 people cheering for you, than to finish first and have to stand there all alone. - A liar tells the truth every time he lies. - When someone pulls out a camera, don't ask them to take a picture of you. - If you don't think it's funny, don't laugh. - Control your animals ... and your children! - Stop quoting people when you don't know what you're talking about. - Live your funeral every day.

About the Author
Gregory Brad Cutler, an accomplished author with five published works to his credit, holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems from Howard University and a Doctorate in Law from Georgia State University's College of Law. His professional career as an educator spans over 25 years and includes working in the North Carolina Community College System and several years of teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Howard University. The genres of his writings include: prose, poetry, faith-based, motivational, and self-help works. As an educator, ordained elder, motivational speaker, and student of life, he says, "Nothing in the human experience is foreign to me. I might not have experienced it directly, but I'm a human being; so if my brother or sister goes through it, it's not foreign to me" His acumen as a gifted orator endears him to an audience of 2 to 2,000 and those who range in age from 1 to 100. He enjoys talking with people, and he confesses that the one thing that he hopes to give and to glean from every conversation is "some modicum of inspiration to become a better me"
