Paul, a former youth pastor and brick-building summer camp curriculum developer, is always inspiring his children and students to branch out into building imaginative new sets and ideas. Elaine is a certified health coach and a homeschooling mom. The couple live with their children in San Mateo, California.

Cover illustrator and co-designer Sofia Chen is a fourth grader at Hugo Reid Elementary School. Sofia loves playing brick-building with Natalie, her little sister, after school—everyday.
