Jen Mott, Ed.D. is the author of this picture book, which included stories and inspiration from her own circus experiences. She loves to engage crowds of all sizes as a professional speaker and juggler, balloon artist, stilt-walker and fire performer and has spent decades working with the Cincinnati Circus Company (since 2006!). Dr. Mott's full-time work is in education as a school administrator and college professor. She is also the author of three other books. Her first book is called Teacherverance, a non-fiction book about her Doctoral research on teacher perseverance and why teachers stay. Her second book is called Why Teaching? - another picture book centered around her own educational journey and honoring her teachers and parents who were also educators. Her third book, CyberComet Reflections, was published with students sharing their story of navigating a global pandemic and online learning while going through middle school (from the educator and student lens) and how that shaped the students' in-person high school experiences, as a result. From students to staff to large organizations and businesses, Dr. Mott finds inspiration in merging her passions for entertainment and education by helping motivate others to become the best versions of themselves and try new things. While based in Cincinnati, OH - Dr. Mott's love for travel takes her anywhere she can meet new people! Learn more at www.DrJenMott.com.
