About the Author
Artist Michael Gaydos has been published by Marvel, DC, Image, Tundra, NBM, Caliber and White Wolf --- highlighted by turns on Negative Burn, The Crow and Heaven's War.
Veteran writer and editor Roger Stern wrote well-received runs of Amazing Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, among other titles. During his ASM run, he introduced Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), the Hobgoblin (Roderick Kingsley) and other major Marvel figures. He also helped launch West Coast Avengers, just one of his contributions to that franchise; others include a long stint as monthly writer and work on multiple miniseries: Avengers Forever, Avengers Infinity, Avengers Two and X-Men vs. Avengers --- plus runs on Captain America, Iron Man and Thor. His graphic novel Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment provided major developments for Marvel's most prominent super-villain. At DC, Stern was a core Superman writer in the post-Crisis era, best known for his role in the 1992 "Death of Superman" saga. He has written three Superman novels. Stern's return to Marvel has included stories in Giant-Size Incredible Hulk, X-Men: Odd Man Out, Captain America and Amazing Spider-Man.
Lee Weeks followed the legendary John Romita Jr. as artist on Daredevil, his dynamic illustrations soon establishing him as a talented illustrator in his won right. He has gone on to pencil projects such as Batman Chronicles: The Gauntlet, Incredible Hulk, Gambit and Captain Marvel.
