Ambush

Perfect for those love crime thrillers with a good and decent main character - noble friends - action - clean language - no graphic sex - a little romance - and an undertone of faith from a Christian worldview.

Some crimes are beyond imaginable, especially when they strike close to home. Those crimes deserve a special brand of rectitude: Frontier Justice.

In this 2nd installment in the BIG SKY Series, Sheriff Wade Lockhart tracks his prey, a man suspected of murdering one of his deputies, to a neighboring Mountain state.

With each new development in the case, Wade realizes his just quest will soon put him to the test-as a lawman, and as a man of virtue.

Because lurking beneath this 45-year-old's rugged exterior, and steely resolve, are unseen forces fighting for his attention...Justice and Revenge.

And near Yellowstone National Park, while closing in on his adversary, Wade fears those two forces are on a deadly, life-changing collision course.

Entertaining crime thriller - in a modern-day country setting - featuring a no-nonsense sheriff, beautiful scenery, and fast-paced action.

Praise for Ambush:

"Down-to-earth series with the kick of a 300 Win Mag."

"The vivid scenery brings the Western flavor to life."

"Lovable characters, drama, action...Ambush delivers."

A big-time fan of thrillers (books and movies) for over 40 years, Alex Ander writes globe-trekking action thrillers packed with fistfights, gunfights, and heart-pounding excitement and adventure...all with clean language, no graphic sex, and an undertone of faith from a Christian worldview.

Alex has written more than 30 books in the military/law enforcement genre. And as an avid gun enthusiast, he cringes right along with you when a magazine is called a "clip." That's why you can always trust him to get the firearm terminology correct.

Currently, Alex has produced five different series with main characters from the U.S. Marines, Army Rangers, FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and the CIA's Special Operations Group. And a possible sixth series is in the works featuring an ex-military man putting his deadly skills to use as a private contractor helping others.

Living in Michigan with his wife, Alex spends some of his spare time painting landscapes, playing the harmonica, reading books, and watching action thrillers.
