Stiff blue wrappers, very good condition, some wear and short tears to backstrip, bending at corners. This work presents the winning and other notable submissions from what was presented as the first architectural competition for airport designs. The ext outlines the standards for submissions, and names the prize committee. Full-page photo illustrations demonstrate the winners of the first three prizes as well as runners up. Archibald Black, who wrote the text, analyzes the featured entries, beginning with the prize winners. The entries present a wide range of designs for both terminals and runways.
