In good condition. Some staining and wear to leather. Hinges are cracking, but intact. Spine worn particularly at the head, with segment of loss at top of bottom compartment. Leather has been treated with archival wax to prevent any further dryness. Front gutter has been repaired. Light chipping to front end page. Pages are lightly toned with some appropriate rippling from previous humidity exposure. Unmarked. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. Rare American history at the dawn of the Civil War.
