Original cloth, hinges gone, boards attached by crude cloth repair. The original paper spine label is still present behind the repair cloth. Internally fine, edges untrimmed, with scattered library rubber stamps. iv, 380, 250, [4] pp., with notice slip at title page. The text is modeled after the British Annual Register, detailing statistics. Includes obituaries for John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, noting the amazing coincidental July 4 date of both deaths, 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Also present is an obituary for Czar Alexander I. Much of the volume describes events in foreign affairs for these two years, but also has discussions of Indian Affairs, particularly the Creeks, Seller Inventory # b00393
