The complete run of Thorsen's American Book Collector, 1956 to 1976, in 21 volumes. Later cloth, bound by Andrew J. Laird of Berkeley CA. Volumes 6 through 26 (begins with vol. 6 because Thorsen continued the numbering scheme of American Book Collector's predecessors, including The Amateur Book Collector [several issues of which from 1955 are bound and included in vol. 6]). An absolute treasure trove of information. Essential reference. Of special note, includes the first-ever publication in print of an L. Frank Baum (author, Wizard of Oz) short story entitled "The Tiger's Eye: A Jungle Fairy Tale" (see vol. 13 [1969]). Attractive and durable bindings have protected and preserved these individual issues and make it possible for the reader to readily access the contents.
