About the Author
The Cogdill family has been building homes in Florida since 1919. John and J.J. Cogdill are third and fourth generation home builders. Both John and J.J. hold Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Florida, College of Architecture, School of Building Construction. In addition, John Cogdill is: a Certified General Contractor, Veterans Administration certified designer, and is on the Advisory Council to the University of Florida School of Building Construction. Also, John Cogdill is: a past director of the Northeast Florida Builders Association and Clay Builders Council, and was voted Clay County Builder of the Year by his peers in 1990 and 1994.
