By Robert Buist, E.L. Carey & A. Hart, 1839, 377 pp plus publisher’s list, half leather, 9 x 6”, 8vo. In fair condition. Moderate wear to extremities with scuffing to edges and corners. Marbled boards are scuffed with peeling at edges. Spine abraded with loss of leather at tips. Red rot afflicts the bottom compartment. Leather flaking from spine. Front fly detached and chipped. Interior toned with heavier foxing throughout. Old hand ownership on title. Free of known markings. Binding intact. Please see photos. A handy month-to-month guide on the cultivation of gardens both indoor and outdoor. With everything from how to build a green house to the care and keeping of hyacinths and tulips. Pages 357-370 are dedicated to the grape vine.
