Hardcover; brown embossed cloth. SD. NAP. Many illustrations and plates; some of the plates are double-page, and one fold-out. 440 pages, plus 32 pages ads. Some very light rubbing at the corner tips, and just a bit of wear at the spine extremities. There is a 1/2" divot in the middle of the front board. Else the binding is quite clean, with just a bit of very light surface rubbing and a couple tiny specks. The spine is perhaps a bit sun-lightened, but the spine gilt is bright, with just a bit of rubbing near the extremities. The page edges are age-darkened and with some freckling. A small piece torn off at the bottom corner of the front flyleaf. Else the pages are clean. The plates are clean. ; 27B; 7-3/4" x 5".
