Decorative brown cloth with gilt-decorated spine and cover emblem. Large octavo. 494pp. Tinted lithograph frontispiece and extra illustrated title page and many engraved illustrations throughout. A good copy with some spotting to the covers and some fading and tip wear to the spine. The text is very good with some scattered foxing. There is an ink name on the flyleaf. A few pages have some spotting in the margin and one section of text is lightly sprung from the binding with some light edge-chipping. Seller Inventory # 50
