Original leather, fine condition, joints repaired. 180, 16, 11, 4 pp. The typeset of the text is identical to the 1809 edition, with changes on the title page imprint. Ex-libris Library Company of Philadelphia, with withdrawal stamp. The last section is "A Course of Book-keeping . Altered from C. Hutton." This is an early American work on bookkeeping and accounting, first published in 1791. Printed and sold by Joseph Crukshank. Sold also by B.B. Hopkins, & Co. Philadelphia; D. Mallory & Co. Boston; Lyman, Mallory & Co. Portland; D.W. Farrand & Green, Albany; Ph. H. Nicklin, & Co. Baltimore; Patterson & Hopkins, Pittsburgh. Two ownership signatures of Jesse Esben, one dated February 6, 1812, the other February 17, 1813. Skilin (Maine Imprints 1785-1820) 10-29, S&S 19356 (5 loc.).
