After but two editions the title was changed to An American Selection (Phila., 1787). Other 18th-century printings appeared in Albany, Hartford, Newport, Boston and New York. Skeel notes: After this edition Hudson and Goodwin dropped "Connecticut" in their title but continued the numbering. They also discontinued dating their printings, which makes placement difficult."
