Americanos Forever: La Raza Americas

For generations, the story of La Raza has been told in fragments - scattered across borders, cultures, and histories. In Americano Forever: La Raza Americas, Ruben Barrera Vela Botello, JD, brings these stories together through the lived experiences of an Aztlan Chicano whose journey reflects the heart of millions across the Americas.

Born and raised in Texas, the author recounts his long path through military service, higher education, and the fight for justice - a path that led him from the G.I. Bill to classrooms in California, and ultimately to national advocacy as founder of the American Homeless Society. Through these experiences, he weaves a compelling narrative of identity, resilience, and the unbreakable spirit of La Raza.

With clarity and conviction, Botello explores his belief that the Americas - home to more than 750 million multilingual Americans of every race, color, nationality, ethnicity, culture, religion, and creed - are bound together by shared humanity, dignity, and the promise of unity. He challenges us to imagine a future where every ciudadano of the Americas can live, work, study, travel, and contribute freely across these interconnected lands.
