Philadelphia: Hogan & Thompson, 1840. Title page dated 1840. Historic documents of the United States plus 27 state constitutions. Full brown leather with black spine label and gilt ruled spine, 7" tall, 419 pages. Fair to good condition with dramatic ink spotting to front cover, surface cracks to joints (covers well attached), other expected wear, sound text block, lightly smudged endpapers, pages clean, name in pencil inside front cover, no other markings. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
