frontis, facsimiles, 122p. 22 cm. White hardcover binding. No Jacket (as published). Edited by Stanley Austin Ransom, Jr. This was a reprint of the 1970 edition with the addition of a new three-page Preface by Ransom. A further revised edition with the same title and also edited by Ransom, was published, apparently only in paperback, by Outskirts Press in 2020 to include one or two recently discovered poems by Hammon and some further scholarhip on this early poet.
