An Amicable Controversy with a Jewish Rabbi on The Messiah's Coming

An Amicable Controversy with a Jewish Rabbi, on The Messiah's Coming by John Ranicar Park is a theological dialogue focused on the topic of the Messiah's anticipated arrival. The book presents a structured debate between the author and a Jewish rabbi, discussing various interpretations of Messianic prophecies found in the Hebrew Scriptures and their relevance to Christian beliefs about Jesus Christ. Park, representing the Christian perspective, argues for the fulfillment of Messianic prophecies in the person of Jesus, highlighting scriptural passages that he believes support this view. The rabbi, on the other hand, presents the traditional Jewish understanding of these prophecies, arguing that they have not yet been fulfilled and discussing the implications of this difference in belief.
