Undated fifth edition hardback, c.1900, in full dark blue leather binding with gilt decoration and tooling to edges, the spine with five raised bands, gilt decoration and red leather gilt title label. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - spine a touch faded with a couple of tiny nicks to leather. Binding tight and appears almost unread. Internally clean, no annotation - school prize inscription handwritten to second front endpaper dated 1912 with ownership signature added in 1977; marbled page-ends slightly faded but text, marbled endpapers and illustrations bright and clear throughout. A particularly handsome and well cared for copy. Photographs available. Not an old library book. Seller Inventory # 230699
