The Amorous Spotted Slug for State Slug: and Other Short Stories

A Book for Non-Readers

(Hammock not Included)

People once viewed books as cheap entertainment. All that was required was a good book and a pair of glasses (if over forty). A plush hammock in the shade was an added luxury. Today people have neither the time nor the attention span to read a novel. The good news is that reading is like riding a bicycle; the skill will return. Short stories are training wheels for novels. They train the brain for larger projects such as a novel. The Amorous Spotted Slug consists of fifteen short stories in a variety of genres. Despite the similarities to Uncle Joe, they are works of fiction. The best way to read this book is to pick the stories that pique your interest. The author has no desire for fame or fortune. He would be happy to be known as the Johnny Appleseed of the literary world. If you are not sure if this book is a worthy investment for your time and money, let the author know, and he will send you a free copy.
