This volume presents an integrated survey of the most recent research, engineering development and commercial application of amorphous and microcrystalline semiconductor optoelectronic devices. Kanicki was born in Poland. He received a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels. He is a member of the Materials Research Society and the American Physical Society.
