Amulet of Scion

“Keep it secret. Keep it safe. Never give it to anyone.”

Determined to fix the trouble she’d caused, 12-year-old Bailee Paxton visits a fossil park and breaks the promise she swore to her mother she’d keep.

In her small seaside hometown, a world-famous professor lapses into a coma. Shattered glass, piles of salt, and an eerie amulet surround his body. Soon, talk of whodunit and whispers of witchcraft waft around the seaside town. But Bailee knows what others don’t—her amulet glowed when the professor appraised it - and legend implies that it calls to those who made it.

Too late, Bailee realises that she never broke a promise. She ignored a warning. Now someone or something watches her from the shadows.

“When the amulet calls, and the third sun falls, a heartbeat stalls.”

A world of secret societies, magic, mystery, and mayhem.
For all ages.
