About the Author

Robert Schenk became interested in designing mazes 30 years ago when he wrote a computer game that randomly generated mazes for the short-lived TI-99/4A home computer. Ten years later he combined computer programming with enthusiasm for designing typefaces to develop a unique maze-generation system. That system led to two books, Fascinating Mazes (1994) and Maze Madness (1996), published by Dover Publications. Changes during the past fifteen years in the way books are marketed and published have rekindled his interest in designing maze books. Amusing Alphabet Mazes is one result of that renewed enthusiasm.
