Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Ziel der Magisterarbeit ist die Analyse der Begrifflichkeit „Informationsgesellschaft". Die Motivation bei der Wahl des Themas bestand darin, dass im allt�glichen Sprachgebrauch, sei es in der Zeitung oder im Radio, das Wort Informationsgesellschaft als selbstverst�ndlich gebraucht wird. Es wissen aber nur wenige Menschen, was genau damit gemeint ist. Dazu kommt, dass die Experten dieses Wort ihrem Fachgebiet gem�� definieren. Informatiker haben eine technikbezogene und die Wirtschaftswissenschaftler eine �konomische Sichtweise auf die Gesellschaft. Gang der Untersuchung: Durch das umfangreiche Literaturstudium konnten einige Autoren herausgefiltert werden, deren Werke als grundlegend f�r die Betrachtung der Informationsgesellschaft bezeichnet werden k�nnen. Sie werden hier vorgestellt und ihr Impact in einer Zitieranalyse untersucht. Die derzeitige Begriffsdiskussion in Deutschland wird zusammen mit den vorgestellten Beitr�gen zur Entwicklung eines eigenen Ansatzes zur Informationsgesellschaft genutzt.
