Retired library copy, minimally stamped, stickered, labeled; Faded green cloth binding with frayed spine extremities; Original pale yellow endpapers, light fold to top corners; Textblock overall clean and tight. Blind-embossed green cloth, fraying/chipping to head and foot of spine, bumped corners with light fraying; library label glue remnant on spine. Donation label on ffep; 372p., plus 23 plates, including frontispiece, and drawn from life by Henry Howard; All of womanhood explained and judged by a middle aged white male, expressing the caucasian opinions of 1852. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
