Analysis of the Congolese Economy Using the 2005 Matrix

This study presents the characteristics of the Congolese economy using the 2005 Social Accounting Matrix (MCS-RDC2005). It provides insight into the structure of production and foreign trade while highlighting the pattern of specializations in international trade. This study is useful for any modeling work applied to the Congolese economy, as it provides guidance on the structural characteristics necessary for selecting appropriate functional forms and even for determining the numerical values of parameters.
