About the Author

Meryl Levin is a social documentary photographer based in New York City. ANATOMY OF ANATOMY is her first book. Levin received a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in 1994, and a Fellowship from the Open Society Institute s Project on Death in America in 2000, which helped make this project possible. Her photographs have been published worldwide. She continues to work on long-term documentary projects in the US and abroad. She can be reached by email at: mlevin@igc.org
