Anatomy and the Problem of Behaviour

Originally published in 1929, this book contains the text of three lectures by George Coghill on the subject of the anatomical basis for typical behavioural development in animals. Coghill takes salamanders as his particular case study to connect the growth of the nervous system in an organism with its observable behaviour. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in animal behaviour and the physiological basis for behaviour.
